Steve's Web Journal Tips and Tricks:
Adding A Photo to your Journal
If you do NOT have a webphone with a camera you can still add images through the Phonecam add-on:

  1. Login to your Bravenet account
  2. Click on the Web Journal service manager link
  3. Click on the Phonecam option in the Add-On section:


  4. Click on the Enable Phonecam option (click once in the radio button)
  5. Click Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.
Once you have Enabled the Phonecam in your Journal, you need to send a picture to it, to be displayed in your Journal:
  1. Open a blank new email and address it to phonecam@bravenet.com

  2. Attach your image file to the email message (file attach)

  3. The subject of your email must be your username and password seperated by a colon (:) as follows:

    your_username:your_password

  4. Send the email.
Your ready-to-send email should look something like this:


Remember: The email should be blank. If your email program does not allow a blank message to be sent, you can put a blank space instead.

The image in your journal will update instantly after you have finished sending the email! (You may have to refresh the Journal page to make sure the image appears).
